Course Description:
Architecture of high performance distributed systems (e.g. frameworks and middleware). High performance distributed objects (DCOM, Corba, Java Beans) and networking with crosscut issues for performance, availability, and performance predictability. Scalable servers, metacomputing, and scientific computing.
