Course Objectives:
Course Description:
Current topics in programming language design and implementation such as intermediate representations for software tools, cost models, optimizing for high-performance or parallelism, optimization of object-oriented languages, and use of AI techniques in compilers. (S/U grades permitted.) May be repeated three times for credit.
