This document is an unofficial introduction to the Computer Science Graduate Program at UC San Diego. It addresses some topics not covered in other publications you may receive and provides information which will hopefully make the initial adjustment to graduate school a little less confusing.
The handbook was initiated by a few students in UCSD's Computer Science Department several years ago, and is annually revised. Thanks to the students and staff who assisted in collecting and verifying information.
