CSE3 – Fluency in Information Technology

Course Objectives:
Information technology is playing a large and increasing role in both
society and the individual lives of citizens. This course attempts to provide
students with basic information they need to deal with information technology.
It is more of a concepts course than a programming course, but some simple
programming will be done as part of the teaching of concepts. Further course

Course Description:
Introduces the concepts and skills necessary to effectively use
information technology. Includes basic concepts and some practical skills with
computers and networks.
Format:
Hours of week expected of student3 hours of lecture, 1 hour of discussion,
2 hours of lab, and 6 hours of outside preparation.
Prerequisites:
None.

This course is open to all students.
