News: I've recently moved back to the Dept. of Computer Science (DCC) at the University of Chile, Chile in order to resume my professor position there after finishing my ph.d. at the the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at UCSD. There, I was at the Cryptography and Computer Security Lab under the supervision of Daniele Micciancio. My undergraduate work was done at the Computer Science Dept. (DCC) at the University of Chile, Chile.

• Some past events I was involved in: Latin American Theoretical INformatics Conference (LATIN 2006), March 20-24, 2006, Valdivia, Chile.
• Research: My main research interests are cryptography and secure protocols for distributed systems. Here are my publications.
• Other Activities: I participate in the Applied Cryptography and Security Lab, CASLab from the U. of Chile, and I am the director of the Chilean Incident Response and Security Team CLCERT. Also, I'm part of the Diplomado de Seguridad Computacional.
