I recently graduated with my Ph.D. from UCSD working in the Systems and Networking Lab with Geoff Voelker, as well as with Michael Rabinovich and Zhen Xiao at AT&T Labs. I now work at Google , starting August 1. My research interests focus mainly on improving web site content delivery. My dissertation project was Cassandra, a tool to improve web site performance. Before that, I worked on the Medusa project, a tool that can be used to measure the effects of different performance enhancements on both object and whole page performance. |

I am married to
Mike, and we recently had a son, Jack , who is too cool for us. Together we own
the cutest dog in the world, Sissy.
When I'm not working, I like to read, travel,
snowboard, work-out, play video games and (of course) play with our dog.
