Enrolling in this course

Pre-requisites

Enrollment in this course is restricted to students meeting the following conditions:

Must have a grade of A- or better in CSE107
Must be a registered under-graduate. (No MS or PhD students, and no non-students. Five year combined BS/MS program OK if not in fifth year.)

Procedure

Enrollment in this class is restricted to 20 students. Students are requested to attempt to enrol in this course only if they have a very serious interest in it, and expect to complete it, not just to find out what it is about, for in doing the latter thay can rob another student of a spot.

Students who meet the pre-requisites and have such a serious interest are invited to begin the enrollment process by completing a UCSD APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT: SPECIAL STUDIES COURSES 197, 198, 199 form and returning it to me. You should enrol for 4 units. (There may be a choice between 2 and 4 units.) I will accept these applications until Tuesday March 29, 2005. I will then select 20 students to enrol. Others may be placed on a wait-list. If you are accepted you will be given back a signed form and then you can complete the rest of the enrollment process.
