Multicasting Continuous Media

Having looked at the problems of continuous media and multicasting in separation, in this section we examine the issues arising from their combination. We emphasise here issues such as dealing with heterogeneity and resource reservations that become particularly important in this context. In addition, other issues, such as routing and feedback control, take new dimensions when multimedia and multicasting are combined, with both novel problems and special case solutions arising.
