Update: I am now an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department and Center for Computational Molecular Biology at Brown University. Please see my new website .
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. My research is focused on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Recently, I have been studying genome rearrangements in tumors and algorithmic problems in haplotyping, multiple sequence alignment, and motif finding.
Presently, I am supported by a Career Award at the Scientific Interface from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. My earlier research was supported by Postdoctoral Fellowship in Computational Molecular Biology from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
