Research interests

I am currently working with Pavel Pevzner as a Post-doctoral scholar at UCSD's department of Computer Science and Engineering and an active member of the Computational Mass Spectrometry research group. My main research interests are on algorithms, machine learning and their application to computational biology. The current focus of my research is on the detection, assembly and interpretation of uninterpreted MS/MS spectra from overlapping peptides. E.g. how to reconstruct a protein sequence given only MS/MS spectra of some of its subsequences.
